He is survived by: his wife Lillie Cooper; his children, William Cooper Jr. (Maria), Joshua Cooper Sr. (Tammeka), Christie Cooper-Anderson, Yolanda Elliott (Cal) and Jennifer Ferrell; his stepdaughter Stephanie Davenport (Alvin); his siblings, Patricia Cooper, Tollie Armstead and Charlie Cooper; his grandchildren, Korynn Cooper, Natyah Cooper, William Cooper III, Amaia Cooper, Mary Anderson, Andrew Anderson, Dajaun Ferrell, Joshua Cooper Jr., Zoey Evans, Brendan Cooper, Christian Cooper, Mackenzie Cooper, Sierra Elliott and Caleb Elliott; his stepgranddaughter Serita Harvey; his mother-in-law Gussie Wilson; his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Wilson, Regina Cooper, Linda Cooper and John Smith (Loretta Gilliam); his aunt Fannie Barnes; his uncle Jack Barnes; his nieces and nephews, Angela Green (Antoine), Lutesia Rome (Travis), William Davidson (Karen) and Antonio Cooper; and his cousin Robert Smith.
