It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia (Pat) Mayes of West Point, Georgia, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Patricia had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Patricia may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Adams and Charlie D. Adams; and her husband Joe Mayes. She is survived by: her children, Julianne McCannon of Kennesaw, Kerry Franks of West Point, GA and Kevin Franks of West Point, GA; and her daughters-in-law, Jan Franks and Christy Franks.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the West Point Presbyterian Church (1002 Fifth Ave, West Point, GA 31833). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Flowers are welcomed as well as donations in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
