He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Taylor and Clara Spence; and his brothers, Donald and Jerry. He is survived by: his wife Mary Taylor; his children, Teresa Sanchez and James Taylor, Jr.; his grandchildren, Koral Seriana, Alex Maltese and James Taylor; his great grandchildren, Daron Seriana, Opal Seriana and Maverick Taylor; and his siblings, Ronald, Charlie, Lester, Tim, Marty, Joyce, Linda, Becky, Angela, Susan, Kathy and Shannon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in SFC (RET) James Taylor's memory to the Lewy Body Dementia Association or Wounded Warriors Foundation.
