She was predeceased by: her father Burell Davidson; her husband Clarence Houston, Sr.; her children, Joann Houston Williams and Alfred Houston, Sr.; and her sister Susie Johnson.
She is survived by: her sons, Eddie Houston (Winnie), Clarence Houston, Jr. and Carlton Houston; her grandchildren, Debreca Houston Langston, Maurice Houston (Stephanie), Edwin Houston (Kristen) and Alfred "Shabo" Houston, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Louise Walter. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
