He is survived by: his children, Denice Smith (Mark) of West Point, GA, Cindy Mercer (Mike) of West Point, GA, Ken Sewell (Tenley) of West Point, GA and Randy Sewell (Carol) of Columbus, GA; his sister Juelleen Statham (Paul) of Atlanta, GA; and his sister-in-law Thelma Sewell of Eupora, MS. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews.
