She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Chappell Sr. and Carrie Mae Gates; her husband Virgil Davidson; her children, Gracie and Virgil Jr.; and her siblings, Robert Binn, Willie Levett, Luis Gates, Floyd Chappell, Wilmer Bill Chappell, Dock Chappell, Hazel Green, Annie Maude Knox, Velma Ann Gates, Maxine Grant and Corine Hamlett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vera Winston (Neal) of West Point, GA, Angela Davidson (Mark) of Braselton, GA and Cindy Ann; her great grandchildren, Andrew Virgil Davis, Harper Ray Davis and Cameron Pierce; her sister Sallie Burton of Roanoke, AL; her aunt Lula Robinson of Lanett, AL; her sisters-in-law, Lula Levett of St. Louis, MO and Barbara Gates of Atlanta, GA; and her close friends, Floyd Wallace, Patricia Norwood, Edith Davidson, Eloise Cosby, James Jones and Ralph Davidson. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
