Bates; his nephew Ricky Turner; his niece Amanda Sims; his uncle Herman Turner; and his nephews, Keith Turner and Michael Turner.

He is survived by: his wife June Leinani Stanfield; his siblings-in-law, Sheila Bates, Jeffrey Sims and Debbie McIntyre; his aunt Ruby Turner; his children, Dwayne, Melissa Stanfield, Donna Stanfield and Stephen Stanfield; his daughter-in-law Frances Tindell (Rex Tindell); his grandchildren, Sara Elizabeth Stanfield, Rebecca Stanfield (Chris Nunn), Jeffrey Stanfield, Hannah Mackey (Tyler Mackey), Benjamin Lee Haun (Veranikah Hahn) and Richard Paul Haun (PJ); his great grandchildren, Jaden Stanfield, Jeffrey Stanfield Jr., McKenzie Stanfield, Nash Mackey, Michael Nunn, Bailey Nunn, Matthew Nunn, Daniel Nunn and Jameson Hahn; and his niece Tina Bates Turner (family: Shane Bates, Denise Bates Wright, Angie Sims Phillips, Monty Sims). He is also survived by family, Monty Sims (Kodie) and family, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
