She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Shockley; and her siblings, Ivan Balch, Donald Balch, Joyce Harlow and Abby Slocum.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Whaley and Charlie Parker III of Eustis; her grandson Gregory Whaley (Ashleigh) of Mt; her son-in-law Jeff Whaley of Salem, AL.; her brother George Balch (Mary) of Raeford, NC; and her stepsister Katherine Blanchard of Windsor, VT..
