He was predeceased by: his father Steve D. Corbitt; and his sister Tammy Corbitt Myers. He is survived by: his wife Anita L. Corbitt of West Green, GA; his sons, James Allen Corbitt (Jessica) of Nicholls, GA and Richard Daniel Corbitt of West Green, GA; his mother Irene Corbitt of West Green, GA; his siblings, Nina Faye Corbitt (Roberto) of West Green, GA, Brenda Kay Smith of West Green, GA, Glenn Corbitt (Regina) of Snipesville, GA and Danny Corbitt (Kathy) of West Green, GA; his grandsons, Ricky Daniel "BayBay" Corbitt and James Daniel "Toota" Corbitt; and his close friend Dori Merritt of Douglas, GA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Sims Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
