He was loved and cherished by many people including: his pet Charlie; his wife Annie Mae Harper of West Green, Georgia; his son-in-law Randy McKinnon of West Green, Georgia; his children, Janice McKinnon of West Green, Georgia and Ronnie Merritt (Lourice) of West Green, Georgia; his grandchildren, John McKinnon of West Green, Britt McKinnon (Donna) of Farmington, Heather Cichirillo (Joe) of Baxley, Shawn Merritt (Stormy) of Douglas, Katy Merritt (Ordell Foskey) of Douglas, Christy Batten of Ambrose and Clay Lott of Douglas; his sister-in-law Rebecca Harper of Broxton, Georgia; and his sister Thelma Hutcheson (Bud) of Douglas. He was also cherished by 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
