He was predeceased by: his parents, Furman Dorminey and Betty Merritt Dorminey; and his siblings, Nellie Jo Dorminey and Julian Dorminey. He is survived by: his wife Trisha Corbitt Dorminey of West Green, GA; his children, Gwendolyn Dorminey of Macon, GA and Jacob Warren "Jake" Dorminey, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL; his stepdaughters, Victoria Dorminey and Ashlie Dorminey of Thomasville, GA; his grandchildren, Laura Ahlara Williams of Valdosta, GA, Savannah Dorminey of Jacksonville, FL and Jocelyn Dorminey of Thomasville, GA; and his siblings, Jim Dorminey (Charlotte) of Newnan, GA, Lynette Latham (Taze) and Latrelle Hann (Earl). He is also survived by Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many Friends.
Due to COVID-19, attendees are asked to observe six foot social distancing at the visitation, funeral service and interment.
