He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Stewart and Anna Elizabeth Stewart; his wife Debbie Lynn Stewart; his children, Robert Joseph Stewart and Connie Lynn Heath; and his brother Steve Utz.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Darrin Stewart of Waynesville and Maranda Heath of Nahunta. He is also survived by grandchildren; several nieces, nephews.
