He is survived by: his parents, John Gibson and Peggy Ammons Gibson of Waynesville; his wife Shannon Ammons; his sons, Tyler Ammons of Atkinson and Brett Ammons of Atkinson; his siblings, Billy Ammons (Leighanne) of Waynesville, Shannon Gibson (Wendy) of Waverly, Don Gibson (Tiffany) of Waycross, Ben Gibson (Sam) of Hortense, Leslie Herrin of Brunswick and Kristen McLeod of Waynesville; his parents-in-law, Daniel and Vicki Underwood of Atkinson; and his friend Peggy. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
