We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2021, at the age of 78, John William Highsmith Jr. of Waynesville, Georgia, born in Ludowici, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Highsmith, Sr. and Hazel Gordon Highsmith; his wife Angela Ellen Carr Highsmith; his grandson Devin Ryan Johns; his brother Rev. Jimmy; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Highsmith and Mike Aspinwall.
He is survived by: his son Brian; his daughter-in-law Bobbie Highsmith of Waynesville; his daughters, Lisa (Claude Johns) and Beverly Highsmith of Nahunta; his grandchildren, Danielle (Tim Lentz), Derek (Chelsea Johns), Gant (Darryll Highsmith), Abigail Highsmith, Hali (Johnathon Murray), Cheyenne Trosper and Bentley Highsmith; his great grandchildren, Carter Lentz, Cayson Lentz, Camden Lentz, Annaleesa "Toots" Lentz, Jayce Ryan Johns, Liam Highsmith, Elijah Highsmith, Silas Herndon, Jaxtyn Johns and Huxton Bo Highsmith; his brother Mike; his sister-in-law Nancy Highsmith of Jesup; and his sister Marlene Aspinwall of Jesup.
