He is survived by: his wife Liz Baker Nix of Waynesville; his children, Betty Nold (Denis) of Minnesota, Priscilla Popwell of Hortense and Irving Nix of Waynesville; his stepson Roland Kennedy (Marty) of Houston, TX; his sisters, Marion Micheals of Brunswick, Delores Burns (Bobby) of Callahan and Jean Morgan of Waynesville; and his grandchildren, Roslyn Nix, Kristie Weber Popwell, Candace Popwell, Phillip Popwell, Matthew Nold (Melissa), Corina Jean Miller (Dan), Tina Richter (Dan), Sheila Gunterburg (Craig), Earl Ribron (Suzanne), Michael Ribron (Sandy), Lesia Grogg (Bill), Brittney Oglesby (Brent), Tricia Rogers (Steven), Felicia Nix, Tony Nix, Jr. (Tina), John Michael Kennedy (Julie) and Shauna Kennedy.
