He was predeceased by: his parents, Sibbett Merier, Sr. and Athleen Fleming Merier. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Stone Merier of Waynesville; his daughter Sabrina; his son-in-law Devin Wood of Waynesville; and his sisters-in-law, Joann Merier of Milen and Geneva Lightsey (Jerry D.) of Bristol.
