He was predeceased by: his brother Claude Damon Edgy. He is survived by: his parents, Claude Edgy and Theresa Ellis Edgy of Waynesville; his wife Peggie Lynn Bennett Edgy of Waynesville; his children, Elliott Tye Edgy (Aiden Simich) of Waynesville and Cypress Lane (Caleb) of Hortense; his children-in-law, Lexie Thompson Lacie Poindexter (Hunter) and Landon Poindexter; his grandchildren, Tymber Grant, Kynsleigh Lane, Faith Edgy, Layton Lane, Adalynn Edgy, Athen Taylor, Andrew Allen and Waylon Thompson; and his siblings, Kevin Edgy of Waverly, Martin Edgy (Joy) of Brantley Co, Zane Edgy (Kaitlyn) of Waverly and Shamra Kurrasch (Waynesville). He is also survived by 3 step children.
