He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Dean Keene and Dorothy Louise Daniels Keene; his grandson Elijah James Holder; and his brother Richard Galin Keene. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Layton Nathaniel Vinson, Layla Grace Holder and Julia Holder; his great grandchildren, Gabriel Lee Herrin and Evelyn Grace Herrin; and his siblings, Harold Robert Keene (Angie) of Albuquerque and Lou Ann Keene Grooms (Kenny) of Waynesville.
