It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bennie George Woods of Waynesville, Georgia, born in Statesboro, Georgia, who passed away on September 4, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Woods and Mamie Ruker Woods; his wife Kathleen Neely Woods; and his siblings, C. V. Woods, Doy Woods, Junie Burke, Irene Smith, Inez Tinnley, Jean Mallard and Mary Woods.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Beckham (Earl) of Waynesville, GA.; his granddaughter Carla Beckham (David Beckham) of Waynesville; his great grandchildren, Emma Beckham of Waynesville, Anslee Beckham of Waynesville and Lila Beckham of Waynesville; and his sisters, Lila Lee of Statesboro and Jackie Woods of Statesboro. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. And a host of friends.
