She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Rabun and Vera Rabun; her husband Johnny Whisnant; her grandson Christopher Powell; and her sister Sandra Bugg.
She is survived by: her children, Rena Powell (David) of Waynesboro and Shawn Brown (Lisa) of Waynesboro; her grandsons, Michael Key, Dalton Jones, Dylan Jones and Noah Jones; her great grandchild Dominic Jones; her brothers, Hammond Rabun, Elwood Rabun, Jr. and Michael Rabun; and her close friend Teri Lee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Deloach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home (220 E 6th St, Waynesboro, GA 30830).
