In the vast expanse of eternity, Ruth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ruth farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Sullivan and Viola Inglett Blackstone; and her husband L. Gordon Perry. She is survived by: her sister Hattie Moore of Waynesboro; and her friend Bobbie Burke. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Deloach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home (220 E 6th St, Waynesboro, GA 30830). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at the Burke Memorial Gardens (Waynesboro, GA 30830).
