It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael L. Newsome of Waynesboro, Georgia, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on June 30, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Titus W. Newsome and Lillian Rebecca Benson Youngblood; and his brothers, Jimmy, Ronald, Bobby and Ricky Newsome.

He is survived by : his son Keith Newsome (Amanda); his brothers, Richard "Bubba" Newsome (Kathy) and David Youngblood; and his great grandchildren, Bryson Newsome, Cam White, Wyatt Newsome, Kinsley Newsome and Alaya Newsome. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service (3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC 29829). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service (3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC 29829).
