It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marianne Hopper (Waynesboro, Georgia), who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick E. Bevan and Francis M. Bevan; her husband Claude William Hopper, Jr. (Billy); her son Claude William Hopper, III (Bill); and her siblings, Frederick E. Bevan, Jr. and Constance B. Rhodes.
She is survived by: her former husband Billy Hopper; her children, Nell Hopper Dixon (Herbie) and John Frederick "Rick" Hopper (Lisa); her daughter-in-law Donna Harvey Hopper; her grandchildren, Bevan Hopper, McGee Hopper Berding (Sam), Whitney Dixon Zeagler (Worth), Will Dixon (Brooke), Abby Scott Griffin (Justin), Braxton Hopper, Carson Hopper, Avery Chance and Emme Chance; her great grandchild Landie Cate Dixon; and her brother Frank Bevan (Ann). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
