He was predeceased by : his mother Viola Day Skinner; his wife Virginia Barefield Day; and his brother Billy Skinner. He is survived by : his sister Melinda S. Peebles of Sardis; his cousin Norma Dickey of Waynesboro; his nephew Daniel Peebles of Martinez; and his niece Samantha Whitehead of Sardis. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
