She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Edward Jenkins; her parents, Herma Vandegrift and Frank Vandegrift; and her siblings, Chuck Vandegrift and Hanna Vandegrift.
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Blackburn (Jack) of Hephzibah; her grandchildren, Briceton Blackburn of Hephzibah, Brenton Blackburn of Hephzibah, Macayla Blackburn of Hephzibah and Mackenzie Blackburn of Hephzibah; and her siblings, Henry Vandegrift of Greenville, SC and Theresa Cohn of Blythe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Deloach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home (220 E 6th St, Waynesboro, GA 30830). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (2700 Deans Bridge Rd, Augusta, GA 30906).
