He is survived by: his wife Susie Barefield; his son Shawn Barefield (Melissa) of Waynesboro; his grandchildren, Cameron Barefield, Keegan Barefield, Everly Barefield, Baylie Lovett and Mollie Lovett; his great grandchild Carter Dean Lovett; his mother Ruby O. Barefield of Alexander; and his siblings, Ralph Barefield (Lena) of Alexander, Randy Barefield of Sardis, Mary Godbee of Waynesboro, Susan Jones (Bob) of New Braunfels, TX and Lynn Myers (Billy) of Alexander. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
