It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Mallard (Waynesboro, Georgia), born in Milledgeville, Georgia, who passed away on October 25, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Douglas Mallard, Sr.; her sister Jeanette Brantley Glisson; and her daughter-in-law Judy Evon Lovett Mallard. She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Douglas Mallard, Jr., Robert "Bob" Eugene Mallard (Shelley) and David Brantley Mallard (Jamie); her grandchildren, Nicky Nicole Vaughn, Thomas Douglas Mallard III, Justin Phillip Mallard, Chelsa Renee Moore, Mary Elizabeth Mallard, Sarah Ann Mallard, Aubery Elizabeth Mallard and Brylie Lane Mallard; her brother Roman Brantley (Maxie); her brother-in-law John Glisson; and her pets, Millie, Bella and Zero. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Botsford Baptist Church (825 Botsford Church Rd, Waynesboro, GA 30830). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
