She was predeceased by: her parents, O. B. Poole and Sara Hillis Poole; her husband Russell D. Newton, III; her granddaughter Mallorie Israel; and her siblings, Burley and Jane.
She is survived by: her children, Brett Newton (Judy) of Blythe and Sarah Israel (Scott) of New Orleans, LA; her grandchildren, Russell Newton of Blythe, Andrew Newton of New Orleans, LA and Alyssa Condrey of New Orleans, LA; and her great grandchildren, Mattie Newton and Ryleigh Newton.
