She was predeceased by: her husband George W. "Dub" Hendrix, Jr.; her parents, Cleveland Smith and Hattie Mae Dixon Smith; her siblings, Dorothy Cawthon and Joel W. "Joe" Smith; and her son-in-law Dale Arnold.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Parks (William) of Waycross, Lisa Arnold of Waycross and George Steven Hendrix of Lake Park, GA; her grandchildren, Joanna Parks (Kevin Buck), Bill Parks (Melissa), Michael Parks (Leah), Nathan Hendrix, Hamp Hendrix, Grace Hendrix, Kylie Musgrove (Jesse) and Alan Arnold (Hannah); and her siblings, Wanda Strickland of Waycross and B. H. "Benny" Smith (Barbara) of Waycross. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren.
