It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vassilis Kartsonas of Waycross, Georgia, who passed away on October 22, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Demetrios N. Kartsonas and Penelope Dikeakou Kartsonas; and his brother Nick Kartsonas. He is survived by: his children, Maria (Thomas Hayes), NJ and Dimitri; his daughter-in-law Daria Kartsonas of Atlanta; his brother Christos Cartsonas; his sister-in-law Anna J. Emmons of Menlo Park, CA; and his grandchildren, Thomas Hayes, Jr., Robert Vasilis Hayes, Katherine Hayes, Julia Hayes, Christopher Kartsonas and Olivia Kartsonas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
