He is survived by: his wife Lacey Louise Clark Matthews of Blackshear; his children, Tony Windell Matthews, Jr. (Marie), Pamela Denise Matthews (Jimmy Sweat), Walter Mark Matthews and Mollie Tippins; his close friend Lem Tuten (Jeff Doggett); his grandchildren, David Windell Matthews (Brittany Lane), Suzanne Carolyn Lott (Jacob), Derek Anthony Matthews, Samantha Nicole David (Justin), Haley Matthews, Lindsie Grace Matthews, Savannah Denise Tuten and Sydnee Danielle Tuten; his great grandchildren, Kyler Matthews, Kaleb Matthews, Gracie Matthews, Nikolai Lott and Ledger Hanchey; his siblings, Ray Matthews (Janice), George Matthews (Ruby), Junious Matthews, Roseanne Matthews and Sanford Matthews (Sarah); and also, Billy Matthews and Vonnie Miller. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
