He was predeceased by: his father Billy Jerome Day; his pet Rocky "Boo"; and his stepfather Harold Floyd. He is survived by: his mother Kathryn Dowling Day Floyd of Waycross; his wife Tina Day of Waycross; his stepchildren, Dustin Hostutler of Ohio, Brittany Bagley of Ohio, Amber Bagley of Kingsland and Haley Outen; his stepgrandchildren, Dylan Pitts, Brayden Gillogly, Cameron Outen, Bentley Outen, Levi Outen and Gunner Outen; and his brother David Day (Debbie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home and Crematory (130 Screven Ave, Waycross, GA 31501). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
