He was predeceased by: his parents, Wheaton Henry Speer and Rosemary Simmons Speer; and his brother Earl Speer. He is survived by: his siblings, Susan Byrne (Joseph) of Waycross, Norma Jean Lawrence of Holland, MI, Richard Speer of California and Jeff Speer of California. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
