He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lewis Herrin and Sallie Jewell Herrin; and his siblings, Jack Herrin, Nell Crawford and Clara Lee Pendergraft.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Mobley Herrin of Waycross, GA; his children, Steve Herrin and Stephanie James (Carol) of Waycross, GA; and his grandchildren, Jessica Carter (James), Craig James (Brandy), Trey James (Kirsty) and Eric James. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be given to Hospice Satilla, 808 Evergreen Way, Waycross, GA 31501.
