With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Heys (Waycross, Georgia), born in Brattleboro, Vermont, who passed away on September 16, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Elliott Wood and Louise Phillips Wood; her husband Cloyd Buchanan "Bucky" Heys; and her siblings, Robert Leslie Dubuque, Joseph Edward Wood, Donald Elliott Wood and Dorothy Louise Thompson.
She is survived by: her sons, Martin Heys of Brunswick and Scott Heys (Angie) of Brunswick; her grandchildren, Skylar Alan Heys, Emma Grace Heys and Allyson Faith Heys; and her siblings, James Lawrence Wood of Brattleboro and Barbara Ann Perkins of Redondo Beach. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, Georgia 31525.
