She was predeceased by: her parent Banner M. "B. M."; and her siblings, Lamar Thomas, Revis Thomas and Joan Bolden. She is survived by: her children, Mark Tuten of Blackshear and Amy Hewett (Chuck) of Blackshear; her grandchildren, Nashea Leahy (Sean), Sherea Tuten and Gage Hewett; and her siblings, Johnny Thomas (Fatima), Judy Oakes of Leesburg, Ginger Trisch of Orange Park and Byron Thomas (Connie) of Middleburg. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
