It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Kenneth Heaton (Waycross, Georgia), born in Nicholls, Georgia, who passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Heaton and Sadie Taylor Heaton; and his former wife Jann Wheeler Heaton. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Heaton of Waycross, GA; his children, Kenny Heaton (Karen) of Statesboro, GA, Crystal Webber (Lee) of Alapaha, GA, Tammy Heaton of Nashville, GA and Adam Heaton of Ocala, FL; his stepchildren, Alex Wilson (Mildred) of Waycross, GA, Dana Thompson (Robert) of Waycross, GA and Ben Wilson (Kim) of Pooler, GA; and his siblings, Johnny Heaton (Diane) of Nicholls, GA, Billie Smith (Randy) of Alma, GA and Ken Heaton of Alma, GA. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
