She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas A. Barrow and Lillie Eliza Cornell; her husband Roy Lenton Deal, Sr.; her son Roy Lenton Deal, Jr.; and her sisters, Emily Hyers and Carol Wainwright.
She is survived by: her children, Rose Marie Dyals (Walker) of Waycross, Thomas Cleveland "Andy" Deal (Ann) of Valdosta, Donna Lee Dyal (Carroll) of Sandston, VA, Dana Mark Deal (Laura) of Blackshear, Jon Phillip Deal (Jamie) of Valdosta and Tamara D. Stephens (John L. Jr.) of Waycross; her daughter-in-law Mary Deal of Waycross; and her siblings, Madeline Shepard of Tallahassee, FL, Majorie Reach of Live Oak, FL, Barbara Westberry of Fitzgerald, Thomas A. Barrow of Newbern, NC and William "Bill" Barrow of Waycross. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
