He was predeceased by: his mother Gaynor Beatrice Davis. He is survived by: his children, Cassie Davis of Waycross and Robert G. "Davy" Davis II of Waycross; his granddaughter Abigail Hersey of Waycross; his father Carl E. "Dave" Davis, Jr. of Dublin; and his brothers, Carl E. Davis III of Waycross and Shane A. Davis (Kristie) of Waycross. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
