She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Hicks and Alene Dowling Hicks; her husband Harold Riggins; her brother Benny Lee Hicks, Jr.; and her adoptive sons, Willie and Jimmy Riggins.
She is survived by: her siblings, James Robert Hicks, Sr. of Blackshear, Herbert Donald Hicks of Blackshear, Jerry Lloyd Hicks of Pensacola, FL and Annie Lee Hamilton of Waycross; her daughter-in-law Connie West of McDonough; and her grandchildren, Allen Riggins of McDonough, Penney Riggins of McDonough and Levi Riggins of McDonough. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
