She was predeceased by: her parents, Griffin Dempsey Stone and Rachel Walker Stone; her husband Edward Scurry; her children, Martha Humphreys, Raymond Scurry, Gail Chancey, William Scurry and David Scurry; her granddaughter April Humphreys; and her siblings, Jessie Stone, Joe Stone, Preston Stone, Maude Solomon, Leona Stone, Lucille Stone and Jewel Watkins.
She is survived by: her children, Mildred Warner (Ronald) of Waycross, Debra Freeman of Waycross and Cecil Scurry of High Springs, Florida. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews.
