He is survived by: his wife JoAnn McMillan Thompson of Jasper, FL; his children, Paul Timothy Thompson (Kimberly) of Douglas, GA, Mark Dwayne Thompson (Casey) of Ailey, GA, Shawn Keith Thompson (Michelle) of Alma, GA and Samatha Lee Thompson-Bennett (Jason) of Millwood, GA; and his mother-in-law Hazel Hampton. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Music Funeral Home (1503 Tebeau St, Waycross, GA 31501). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
