It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Clifton Dowling of Waycross, Georgia, born in Hoboken, Georgia, who passed away on June 20, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Lula Dubose Dowling; his son David Dowling; and his siblings, Estelle McCord, Louise Druhl, Valeria Guittar and Robert Dowling.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Cox Dowling of Waycross; his daughter Paula McClung (Larry) of Lincoln, NE; his grandchildren, Amber York (Brian) of Lincoln, NE, Matt Dowling (Jenni) of Wilmington Island, GA, Jennifer McCarthy (Cray) of Jesup, GA and Mary Sallach (Tobias) of Atlanta; his great grandchildren, Cayleigh, Shannyn, Brandon, Haden, Patrick, Will, Eric, Anna and Thomas; his sister Rose Lee Calhoun of Waycross; and his daughter-in-law Debbie Dowling Didier (David) of Grantville, GA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
