He was predeceased by: his father J. D. "Sarge" Barnard; and his grandparents, Lonzia, Dolly Joyner, Homer and Naomi Crawford.
He is survived by: his daughter Samantha Fleming (Larod) of Gainesville, FL; his grandchildren, Hailey Crawford, Makenna Fleming and Jace Fleming; and his siblings, Linda Ryan (J. B.) of Blackshear, Debra Lee (Sammy) of Alma, Cheryl Jowers (Mike) of Waycross, Phyllis Crawford of Waycross and Robert Crawford of Brunswick. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Miles-Odum Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses.
