It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ottis Sweat Jr. of Waycross, Georgia, who passed away on January 13, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ottis Sweat and Sarah Ann Smith Sweat; and his sister Patricia Ann Sweat Carter. He is survived by: his wife Linda Sweat; his children, Stephen Sweat (Maribel) of Ringgold and Jennifer Oglesby (Randall) of Jacksonville, Florida; his grandchildren, Holly Elizabeth Corrales (Carlos) of Atlanta, Catilyn Sarah-Marie Sweat of Eugene, Isabella Stephanie Sweat of Ringgold, Tarah Mae Oglesby of Waycross and Christopher Warren Oglesby of Jacksonville, Florida; and his niece Kammy Diprima of Waycross. He is also survived by numerous cousins and other relatives.
Due to Covid-19 facemask will be required for all in attendance and social distancing should be practiced.
