She was predeceased by: her parents, William Olis Britt and Sallie Mae Maxwell Britt; her husband Edward Virgil Oglesby, Sr.; her son James Wade Oglesby, Sr.; and her sister Vertie Lee Highsmith.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Oglesby Mann (Jeff) of Sylvester, GA, Edward V. Oglesby, Jr. (Marianne) of Hinesville, GA, Jeffrey M. Oglesby (Sheila) of Dunn, NC and Alan Lee Oglesby (Niki) of Blackshear, GA; her grandchildren, Eddie Glass, Jonathan Glass, Victoria Peterson, James Wade Oglesby, Jr., Missy Oglesby, Brandon Oglesby, Whitney Glover, Joshua Mann and Summer Mann; and her sister Ruby Cribb (Joseph) of Waycross. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
