He was predeceased by: his mother Ruby Taylor Murray; his grandparents, Archie Leon Murray, Sr., Evelyn Fulford, Ester Lee and Grace Taylor; and his great-grandparents, Ira Wilson, Fannie Smith Murray, George and Maude Booth Cox.
He is survived by: his father Leon; his stepmother Abbie Murray, Jr.; his siblings, Archie W. Murray (Lateariona) of Las Vegas, NC and Cheyenne Murray of Waynesville, GA; his niece Emma Murray; his stepsiblings, Misty McTier (Norman) of Waycross, Robert Bennett of Waycross and George White of Hinesville, GA; and his aunts, Linda Strickland (Forrest) of Blackshear, Rita Murray (Homer) of Blackshear and Debbie Murray of Waycross. He is also survived by numerous cousins and other relatives.
