It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred G. Helmersen (Waycross, Georgia), who passed away on January 31, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Earl H. Helmersen; her parents, Marvin S. Fleming and Estelle DeLoach Fleming; and her siblings, Peggy F. Brewer and Warren Fleming.

She is survived by: her sons, Ira Taylor (Mary Lynn) of Waycross, Tommy Helmersen (Sandra) of Hoboken and Morrie H. Helmersen of Lake HavasuCA. She is also survived by four grandchildren and other relatives.
