She was predeceased by: her parents, Garlin Rexroat and Leona Stanton Rexroat; her husband J. T. Ponsell; and her siblings, Jeanne Rexroat Paxton, Himond "Rex" Rexroat and Joe Rexroat.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Granger (Roger) of Flowery Branch, Cathy Furlow (Michael) of Edisto Island, Tom Ponsell (Rhonda) of Waycross, Susan Schmidt (Ed) of Waycross and Patty Hickox of Waycross. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
