She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Poole and Annie Mae Boyd Poole; her spouse Essie Paul Parrish, Sr.; and her siblings, Rosa Lee Bell, Eloise Taylor, Burnice Poole, Lonnie Poole and Ernestine Poole.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Tyrone Parrish of Atlanta, Essie Paul Parrish, Jr. of Americus, GA., Cassandra Teresa Parrish of Waycross, GA. and Frederick Van Parrish of Waycross, GA.; and her siblings, Lelia Mae Baldwin of Waycross, GA., Tommy Poole (Angela) of St. Mary's, GA. and Robert Poole (Betty) of Waycross, GA.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
